FOR FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES

THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND EVERY CALL OUT

Explore See the technology fire and rescue services use to stay connected, share what they know and make faster, safer decisions.

The Emergency Tech Show (ETS) brings together the technology and the people working on real operational challenges across the blue light sector. This page is for firefighters, officers and the teams that support them: digital and IT, control and mobilising, data, operational technology, drone teams and procurement. ETS 2027 takes place on 6-7 October at the NEC Birmingham, co-located with The Emergency Services Show.

FIRE &RESCUE TEAMS ATTENDING EMERGENCY TECH SHOW

KEY FACTS FOR EMERGENCY TECH SHOW 2027

WHY ATTEND?

WHY FIRE & RESCUE TEAMS VISIT ETS

SEE WHAT WORKS IN THE FIELD

Mobile technology (41%) and communication equipment (40%) were the top interests among fire and rescue visitors at ETS 2026. Handle rugged devices, comms kit and wearables, and ask how they perform in heat, water and smoke-filled environments.

JOIN UP CONTROL, MAPPING AND THE FRONTLINE

Command and control solutions and mapping and navigation (GIS) both ranked highly with fire visitors in 2026. See how mobilising, location data and incident information fit together, and where integration gets difficult.

WATCH DRONES AND ROBOTICS IN ACTION

In 2026, The Drone Cage showed aerial surveillance and payload delivery, while The Robotics Arena featured ground robotics, including quadruped and humanoid platforms designed for high-risk environments. See capability demonstrated rather than described.

MEET FIRE LEADERS AND PARTNER SERVICES

Fire and rescue visitors at ETS 2026 included the Chief Information Officer at London Fire Brigade, the Strategic DTC Lead at the National Fire Chiefs Council, the Chief Drone Pilot at Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service and Chief Fire Officers from West Midlands and Greater Manchester. Police and ambulance teams are on the same floor.
