FOR POLICE FORCES AND DIGITAL POLICING TEAMS

TECHNOLOGY THAT HOLDS UP ON SHIFT, NOT JUST IN A PITCH

See digital policing tools working, question the suppliers behind them and compare notes with forces tackling the same problems.

The Emergency Tech Show (ETS) is where emergency services technology meets real operational need. This page is for police officers, police staff and the teams behind digital policing: DDaT and IT leads, control room and contact management, data and intelligence, transformation programmes and procurement. ETS 2027 takes place on 6-7 October 2027 at the NEC Birmingham, co-located with The Emergency Services Show.

POLICE ATTENDING EMERGENCY TECH SHOW

KEY FACTS FOR EMERGENCY TECH SHOW 2027

WHY ATTEND?

WHY POLICE TEAMS VISIT ETS

TEST IT BEFORE IT REACHES THE BUSINESS CASE

Mobile devices, apps and body-worn kit are easier to judge in your hands than on a slide. See how a product handles real workflows and ask what implementation, integration and support actually involve.

GET PAST THE AI HEADLINES

AI and machine learning was the top technology interest among police visitors at ETS 2026 (55%). Come to see specific use cases, ask about data handling, governance, and judge what is ready for operational use.

COMPARE NOTES WITH OTHER FORCES

Police visitors at ETS 2026 included Chief Technology Officers from Police Scotland, Cumbria Constabulary and Gloucestershire Police, the Head of DDaT at BTP and the Deputy Director of Data at the Metropolitan Police. It is a practical place to hear how other forces are approaching the same issues.

HEAR FROM THE PEOPLE SHAPING DIGITAL POLICING

In 2026, ETS stages featured speakers from policing and the technology sector, covering leadership, digital transformation and the future of policing with generative AI. Hear how others are approaching the same programmes and what they have learned along the way.
