Matthew Tite

Superintendent, Gloucestershire Police

Matthew Tite is a Superintendent with more than 25 years’ policing experience across frontline, operational and strategic roles. He began his career with West Midlands Police, where he worked across response, neighbourhood policing, CID, custody and operations, as well as serving as a Force Incident Manager and Tactical Firearms Commander.

As Senior Responsible Officer for the National Data Analytics Solution (NDAS), Matthew helped operationalise advanced data analytics across policing and shape the development of national capability through the NPCC Digital, Data and Technology community.

Matthew joined Gloucestershire Constabulary in 2023 and currently works within the Force Control Room. He is also an accredited Strategic Firearms Commander and holds postgraduate qualifications in International Police Science and Management Practice.
