John was appointed as the Chief of Corporate Services for Wiltshire Police in December 2023, where he is ultimately responsible for all Wiltshire Police Corporate Services functions.

John has had a very diverse career, holding executive leadership roles across the private and public sector, both in the UK and globally during the last 30 years. Most recently, he has held the role of OPCC Head of Strategy, Performance and Oversight, a role he commenced in June 2022.

Johns career and responsibilities over the various roles he has held have spanned many different areas of achievement, including finance, Information Technology, commercial lending, retail, financial crime prevention, risk management and strategic planning. John completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Services in 2004.

He has significant experience of operating at board level within HSBC Bank Plc, Wiltshire Police and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, ensuring delivery in roles of intense public scrutiny.

John is very passionate about serving the people of Wiltshire and Swindon and helping to Keep Wiltshire Safe.
