Daniel Hamilton is the National Policing CTO at Microsoft UK, leading Microsoft’s engagement with police forces and national policing bodies on the future of technology in UK policing. He focuses on helping organisations harness cloud, AI, data and cyber security capabilities to support operational policing, improve efficiency and enable innovation.

With more than 20 years’ experience across the public sector - including the MOD, FCDO and policing - Daniel is passionate about applying technology to real-world challenges in mission-critical environments. In his role, he leads Microsoft’s work with national policing bodies to shape digital policing strategy, support responsible AI adoption and explore how emerging technologies can improve outcomes for officers, staff and the communities they serve.
