Dan Godel
Daniel Godel has 12 years of experience in Contact Management across Thames Valley Police and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary. Throughout his career, he has held a range of operational and leadership roles, including Contact Handler and Contact Centre Supervisor, developing extensive expertise in public contact, service delivery, demand management, and digital transformation.
Passionate about improving how the public access policing services, Daniel has undertaken several transformational secondments focused on digital innovation. He has supported the adoption and development of online reporting and played a key role in the design, build, and delivery of an online Victims Portal, helping to enhance the victim experience while reducing demand on police contact centres across both Forces.
As Digital Contact Systems & Demand Manager, Daniel focuses on leveraging technology and innovation to improve public service and operational effectiveness. He is proud to be part of the pioneering team behind the UK's first Agentic AI solution in policing, known as Bobbi. Daniel also supports the NPCC National Centre for Vulnerability Prevention and Protection (NCVPP), helping to develop a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) toolkit that incorporates AI capabilities to support officers in delivering more consistent, informed, and effective responses to VAWG-related offences.
