Andy Phillips
Detective Inspector,
Durham Constabulary
Andy has served with Durham Constabulary for over 27 years, primarily as a detective. For the past decade, he has specialised in safeguarding, focusing on high-risk domestic abuse and offences against vulnerable adults and children. He is currently a Detective Inspector, leading the police contribution to Durham’s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), which coordinates the sharing and analysis of information on those at risk. Andy also oversees the delivery of Clare’s Law, Sarah’s Law, Operation Encompass, MARAC, and the Police Strategy Team.
