The Emergency Services Network (ESN) critical communications system is a cross-government programme led by the Home Office to replace the current Airwave service used by the emergency services in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It will transform the way first responders operate by giving them immediate access to life-saving data, images and information in live situations on the frontline.
