Starlink’s Standard kit (Gen 3 / “V4”) is a rugged, self-install satellite terminal built for rapid field connectivity when cell networks are saturated or down.
The flat phased-array provides up to ~475/70 Mbps (down/up) with a 110° FoV, is rated IP67 (with cables installed), operates from –30 °C to 50 °C, survives ~177 kph (110+ mph) winds, melts snow up to 40 mm/hr, and averages ~62 W via 100–240 VAC—making it a solid fit for pop-up command posts, ambulances, and SAR staging areas. The kit includes Starlink’s Gen 3 Wi-Fi 6 tri-band router with two latching Ethernet LAN ports and coverage up to ~297 m² (3,200 ft²) for easy integration with existing gear and mesh expansion.
The Standard antenna itself is compact and packable at ~594 × 383 × 39.7 mm and ~2.9 kg, supporting quick setup on tripods, vehicles, or temporary masts for resilient broadband in the field.
