EIZO DuraVision FDF2711W-IP Wins SIA New Product Showcase Video Surveillance Hardware and Accessories Award
Hakusan, Japan, July 21, 2020 – EIZO Corporation (TSE: 6737) announced that its DuraVision FDF2711W-IP monitor for security & surveillance won the Security Industry Association’s (SIA) New Product Showcase Awards (NPS) Video Surveillance Hardware and Accessories category.
The SIA NPS is a premier awards program in partnership with ISC West that recognizes innovative security products, services, and solutions in several categories to provide a trusted assessment to the industry. The DuraVision FDF2711W-IP won in the Hardware and Accessories category, which covers monitors, lenses, positioning devices, and consoles that introduce a new level of innovation or user benefit. The 27-inch DuraVision FDF2711W-IP connects directly to an IP camera or switch to display video streams over a network. It does not require a PC, software, or other hardware to operate, greatly simplifying installation and saving time and labor costs. This also eliminates several points of failure by heavily reducing the amount of equipment needed compared to a conventional setup.
“SIA congratulates EIZO for being selected as the recipient of the Video Surveillance Hardware and Accessories category award in SIA’s 2020 New Product Showcase,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “It’s this type of continual innovation and drive to succeed that advances the security industry and which contributes to the safety and security of our world.”
