Mark has 30 years’ experience in policing with a background in mainly uniform roles encompassing 20 years as a firearms and public order gold commander. Mark has also run the Kent Police force crime and incident command (control room). He previously worked on ESN in a business change and benefits realisation capacity and is still an operational gold commander in-force, combining that role with carrying overall responsibility for the NPCC ESN and Airwave Team (NEAT) as England and Wales police senior user.
