Starlink’s Gen 3 Performance terminal is a flat, low-profile, electronically steered phased-array built for mission-critical connectivity when terrestrial networks are congested or offline. Delivering up to ~475 Mbps down / ~75 Mbps up with a wide 140° field of view, it’s engineered for harsh deployments: IP69K/IP68 sealing, –40 °C to 60 °C operating range, survivable winds beyond 280 km/h, and integrated snow-melt.
Typical draw is ~70 W, and the included Advanced Power Supply supports 100–240 VAC or 12–56 VDC (ideal for vehicles, generators, and battery systems) plus PoE/LAN for flexible networking with third-party routers.
Field-terminable RJ45 cabling (25 m included; optional 5 m/50 m) speeds rapid setups for mobile command posts, ambulances, SAR teams, wildfire camps, and temporary EOCs. Backed by a 3-year warranty and designed for 10-year survivability, the Gen 3 Performance terminal gives emergency services resilient, rapidly deployable broadband today—with a roadmap to gigabit-class service via network upgrades, no hardware change required.
